In the mid '80s, I worked for a company called "Just Sweats," whose emphasis was on sweatshirts. To make them more interesting, we painted names and designs. Originally, there was a set of 12 samples that every artist had to paint so that all the stores would be uniform. We discovered that people wanted to expand their horizons, and the more artistic you were, the more elaborate your designs could be, so we ended up getting more and more requests. As an apparel painting artist, I did this acryllic painting on the turquoise t-shirt of dragon with highlights as an overcoat to test whether or not they'd wash off in the laundry. I decided to upload pictures of my previous work here since I'm trying to get back into painting, and would be most able to take requests and commissions.
